In Malawi the program is vast, shown here are two communities who grow their raw materials and process them to make a unique product which they sell at profit. Processing and creating a product allows them to create value on raw materials that would otherwise have sold for very little in a very competitive world market. The first village grows sunflower seeds and groundnuts, and makes high quality cooking oil. The second village harvests cane, and makes furniture from it.
